The Group has a large portfolio of diversified, innovative and high value-added tubular products. It comprises the world’s most extensive range of seamless tubes, with outside diameters of up to 1500 mm in over 250 grades of steel.

Our main products are Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG: threaded casing and tubing: VAM®), drill tubes, tubes for thermal and nuclear power plants, line-pipes, mechanical structural and tubing.

Specializing in the most complex and demanding industrial applications (extreme temperatures, high pressure and corrosive environments), Vallourec is a leading global supplier to oil and gas companies, electricity producers, engineering companies and major distributors. 

With its historical roots in France and Germany, the Group has pursuied a strategy of International expansion with strong positions in the USA, Brazil, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The integration of the recently-acquired companies Atlas Bradford (USA 2008) and PTCT (Indonesia 2009), and the construction of a new plant in Brazil (2010) will prove to be significant assets in the Group’s efforts to expand in the buoyant energy markets.

With more than 50 production units and finishing lines worldwide, Vallourec has integrated sites (combined steel mill and a pipe mill) in Europe, the USA and Brazil.

Vallourec’s sales operations enable it to guarantee the worldwide supply of global solutions and services tailored to the local needs of its customers. In the case of the Oil & Gas market, this local presence is strengthened by a network of more than 160 VAM® licensees and field assistance teams (VAM Field Services).
